Before You Call

Before You Call

Know where your main shutoff is before an emergency — that is the single most common regret homeowners report. On the phone, tell us: what is happening, when it started, and whether you have shut the water off. For the full emergency sequence, see emergency plumbing and our first-10-minutes guide.

Pricing, Warranty & Permits

Pricing, Warranty & Permits

How pricing works, what a quote includes, who pulls permits, and how warranties split between parts and labor — all answered in the FAQ below. Paying for a large job? That is a separate topic: see financing for payment paths and what to check before signing. Keeping a system healthy? See the maintenance plan for the scheduled-visit checklist.

After the Visit

After the Visit

If something is not right after a job, call us — we will come back and make it right. To leave a review or read how we earn them, see reviews. For water-quality decisions (softener vs. filtration), see water softener & filtration. For Spring Hill backflow permits and annual testing, see backflow testing & prevention.

All Questions

During business hours (Mon–Fri 7AM–7PM, Sat 8AM–4PM) we do our best to offer same-day visits when you call early. True emergencies get priority around the clock. After-hours rates and any service-call or trip fee vary by job — ask on the phone before dispatch and we will tell you plainly.

We explain our pricing model on the phone and in person before work starts. In general, flat-rate pricing means a fixed price for the job agreed before work begins, which gives predictability even if the job runs long. Hourly pricing means time multiplied by a rate plus materials, which can be cheaper for simple jobs but grows if complications appear. Every quote should state what it includes — labor, parts, permit fees, cleanup, disposal — before you approve it. Ask us, and we will spell it out.

Ask us on the phone — we will tell you plainly. Also ask whether the work is done by our own technicians or subcontractors, and who will actually arrive at your door.

Permits depend on the job and the jurisdiction. Water heater replacement, repiping jobs, sewer work, and backflow installs commonly need permits; small repairs often do not. We handle permits for the jobs that need them and tell you who pays for them. For backflow specifically, see our backflow page for the Spring Hill permit and annual-test path.

For a major leak: shut off the main water valve. For a toilet or sink leak: shut off that fixture's valve. If a tank water heater is leaking, turn the heater off. Move items away from the work area, note when the problem started, and clear a path to the problem. Full emergency steps are on our emergency plumbing page.

Warranties split into two parts: the manufacturer warranty on parts, and the workmanship guarantee on labor. Ask how long each lasts, what each covers, and how to claim it. Longer labor coverage is generally treated as a sign of confidence.

We stop, explain the new issue, quote it separately, and wait for your approval. We never add work silently.
